Appointee Course Quality Checklist

This article provides instructors with a checklist of minimum requirements that their courses should meet before being published on the Appointee platform. Additionally, it includes guidelines and resources that instructors can use to improve the quality of their courses and enhance the community learning experience.  

 

Minimum Course Requirements Checklist: 

 

 To be published on Appointee, courses must meet the following minimum standards:  

– At least 30 minutes of video content 

– At least five separate lectures 

– Valuable educational content 

– HD video quality of 1080p – Note: Videos exceeding an aspect ratio of 16:9, should be modified to 16:9. If the video’s quality is poor, our team will encourage you to retake it to make it look quality. 

– When you’re watching videos, it’s essential that the sound coming from both channels should be synchronized with the video. The audio and video should match up perfectly.

– Audio quality that is not distracting to students 

– A unique course landing page 

– A course image in line with the Appointee’s image standards 

– A course title and subtitle that includes relevant keywords 

– A course description with more than 200 words 

– A completed intended learners section 

– A complete instructor bio and profile picture.
